Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women in the United States. It’s never too late to prevent heart disease or to take positive steps to manage your condition if you’ve already been diagnosed with heart disease. The New Year is a great time to make some changes, and you can start by taking better care of yourself. 
With busy lives women live these days, it’s sometimes hard to slow down and take time for yourself. Let February be your fresh start. We want to provide you with some tools and encouragement to help you take the first step toward a better you.

Topics covered in the calendar include monthly heart care tips, recording your important numbers including blood pressure and weight, suggestions for physical activity, advice on taking medications safely, heart-friendly meal planning tips, and additional resources for understanding more about heart disease.  
Print out the calendar to use as a tool. Make sure to share it and discuss it with your doctor before you make any changes so you can manage your treatment plan together.
